Purpose
The Katimavik-Hazeldean Community Association is neighbours coming together to:- make Kanata a better place to live by providing support to contributors aiming to enhance the cultural, social and economic well-being of the community and the citizens of Kanata;
- act as a public forum for the airing of neighbourhood issues, ideas and suggestions;
- be the one link between our elected officials and the residents of the neighbourhood;
- encourage sound development planning; and
- promote good citizenship and fellowship among residents of the neighbourhood and city.

Volunteers Wanted
Positions available on the KHCA Executive, as well as anyone interested in helping out with meetings, special events or membership.If you would like to be a street representative or are interested in volunteering to help with the KHCA please contact Cheryl at 592-5649 and leave a message.

Students - we have opportunities for community service volunteer hours, including attending monthly meetings and leaflet delivery.
Governance
The constitution of the Katimavik-Hazeldean Community Association and supporting by-laws are effective as of December 1, 1997.
