Now is the perfect time to register yourself and your children in a dance class, swimming lessons, or a skating program! With so many amazing recreation programs being offered, why not try something new or learn a new skill?

2. The kids are back to school


Keep them engaged before and after school! Look no further than the City's exceptional Before and After School programs!  

Activities are focused on healthy child development and are delivered by certified staff who are passionate about providing an outstanding experience. 

These programs are a fantastic opportunity for kids to stay active and make friends.  As a bonus, programs qualify for the Children's Fitness Tax Credit!

3. You can book Last Minute Ice at a discounted rate


Find and buy last-minute ice time online at your convenience!  
Last-minute ice is a rental period which you can buy one to fifteen days in advance at a discounted rate.

Grab your friends for a game, your team for a practice, or even book a solo-session now.

4. You're never too old to play outside


Enjoy the great outdoors this fall in a safe, healthy and fun environment with the Active Living Club 50+

Geared to older adults and seniors, the Active Living Club offers three levels of hiking from September through to October. 

Each level of hike runs once a week and are free for Active Living Club members.

5. The Community Galleries Annual Call for Artists


The Community Galleries Annual Call for Artists invites local and regional artists to exhibit artwork at one of four visual art exhibition spaces:   Archives Gallery 112, Atrium Art Gallery, and Salons A & B of Trinity Art Gallery.
