Building Blocks for Mental Hralth at Work Series

Ottawa Public Health has created a series of workshops and videos (www.haveTHATtalk.ca ) to help workplaces implement the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace. Each workshop will take a closer look at two of the 13 factors that are the building blocks for a mentally healthy and safe workplace.  Participants can attend all the workshops or only those of interest.

  • Learn about evidence based resources to help improve the mental health of your workplace
  • Learn about resources specific to Psychological Protection and Physical Safety
  • Share practical tips, strategies and resources to address Psychological Protection and Physical Safety
  • Develop an action plan
  • Learn from an industry expert from Workplace Safety and Prevention Services (WSPS) about how physical safety can impact the mental health of workers
