1. Fall and Winter Registration is officially open!

Now is the perfect time to register yourself and your children in a dance class, swimming lessons, or a skating program! With so many amazing recreation programs being offered, why not try something new or learn a new skill?

2. You get to Try It - for FREE!

From September 1 to 30, we invite you to be our guest! Participate three times in our aquafitness classes, cycling and group fitness classes, or workout in our fitness centres free of charge! Simply visit one of our participating facilities to set up your free membership access card. Try before you buy! Discover the way to a new and healthy you.

3. The kids are back to school!

Keep them engaged before and after school! Look no further than the City's exceptional Before and After School programs! 
Activities are focused on healthy child development and are delivered by certified staff who are passionate about providing an outstanding experience. 

These programs are a fantastic opportunity for kids to stay active and make friends.  As a bonus, programs qualify for the Children's Fitness Tax Credit!

If before and after school programs aren't the right fit, then register your child in a soccer program to help them burn off some energy! Or help them strengthen their imagination and develop their unique voice outside the classroom with a Fiction Writing class.

4. You can book Last Minute Ice at a discounted rate!

You can now find and buy last-minute ice time online at your convenience!  

Last-minute ice is a rental period which you can buy one to seven days in advance at a discounted rate.

Grab your friends for a game, your team for a practice, or even book a solo-session now.

5. You're never too old to play outside!

Enjoy the great outdoors this fall in a safe, healthy and fun environment with the Active Living Club 50+!. 

Geared to older adults and seniors, the Active Living Club offers three levels of hiking from September through to October. 

Each level of hike runs once a week and are free for Active Living Club members.

6. Step into the studios of local visual artists. Free!

Chat with artists, watch them work in their studios; get a glimpse into the many facets of studio practice.
