Mental Health in the Workplace:  Let's Keep Talking!

Summer is in full swing (finally!).  We invite you to keep talking about mental health in the workplace. In this issue, we will look at a resource to help you TakeYourBreak at work, we will look at sun safety for you and your employees and, just in time for backyard barbecue season, we will look at Canada's Low-Risk Alcohol Drinking Guidelines.
Have you ever said "I'm too busy to take a break today"?  TakeYourBreak is here to help remind you to take regular breaks for your mental health even during your busiest workdays!
Who wants to stay inside when the sun is shining?  Nobody!  But if you work outdoors, you may be exposed to the sun's harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays for longer periods of time. Find out how you can support employees who are required to work outdoors during the summer months.
Summer means long weekends, time spent at the cottage and backyard barbecues.  Will you be serving alcohol to your guests?  If so, you may be wondering what a standard drink size looks like and what low-risk drinking means.
