Inside the Music features free admission to a dress rehearsal of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra in Southam Hall of the NAC. This event is geared towards young people and their families. The goal is to enhance their understanding of how an orchestra works.  Additionally, Inside the Music provides an opportunity for retirement home residents and ambulatory palliative care patients, and their families and friends, to experience a live symphony orchestra as informal music therapy. This event is part of the OSO's community outreach program designed to make live symphonic music accessible to all.

Our Principal Guest Conductor, Alain Trudel, will briefly address the audience, explain how he runs his rehearsals, and talk about the musical piece that is being rehearsed. The audience will then see a real professional orchestra in action!

We hope to see you at the Symphony!
