Bachman Terrace Public Meeting

"There will be a public meeting to discuss the Site Plan Proposal and Zoning By-law Amendment Proposal for part of 19 and 23 Bachman Terrace.  This meeting will be held on Thursday July 17th from 7-9 pm at the Kanata Recreation Complex (Program Room , 2nd floor).  If you would like additional information please contact me at (613)580-2752, or by e-mail."

It will not be a formal public meeting but that you should still come and make sure that you views are heard.

May 5, 2014 MINUTES KHCA Meeting

4th Kanata Scouts Annual Report presented orally by Jeff Jobb KHCA will receive the formal report after the Scouts’ AGM in June.

President’s Update: Katimavik Hazeldean Grand Yard Sale will be on June 7th;                        Notes -- To control mosquitoes Contact Health Duty Desk at 613-580-6744 to ask City to spray against mosquitoes on City property. Please inform KHCA so we can follow-up;    Good numbers turned out for the Hike for Hospice May 4th    despite the rain;      --Cleaning the Capital-Escarpment Park will be on May 10th;     --Vanstone Flood Mitigation meeting April 30th was attended by about 70 residents who were invited to express their views.      Parents and Prevention Workshop - Thursday, May 8th AtWOCRC , 2 MacNEIL Court, Kanata  This Workshop is for adults who want to learn more about youth drug use in today’s society.  Has space was available  Contact: Jessie at cornford@wocrc.ca OR at: 613-591-3686 ex 277

Treasurer reports  $368 operating fund balance

--Residents on Bachman Terrace were notified of the severance of the Northern part of 19 Bachman  Owner of 23 Bachman Terrace in accord with heads up of a rezoning and site control plan application for the combined  property.
