President’s update: 2013 Park clean-up progressing
well.It may be that Stonegate Park
clean-up is mistakenly imagined to involve dog feces.Vandalism on Hearst Way was noted.23

$230,000.Safety concerns led to
supporting four lanes for West Hunt Club to Old Richmond Road to Hope Side Road
from HWY 416 to Eagleson Road.

Following up on April 8 minutes and President`s
update Patrick Fynn explained his company`s approach to 66 Hearst Way and
discussed concerns of residents with the building`s future use in view of the
application for a zoning change.
McQuade owns the 44,000 sq ft building and is as opposed to its becoming a
teenage hang out as are neighbouring residents.Long and McQuade sees 66 Hearst Way as a
location from which to serve not just Ottawa`s Westend but to attract business
from communities up the Ottawa River Valley.The Kids Kingdom is to be a children`s
family oriented fun centre aimed to young especially in arcade type
activities.The portion of the
building leftvacant now is allocated to
the eventual expansion of Long and McQuade music business.

of the parking lot and stop signs onto Hearst Way, possible Adult Day Care to
complement the Kids Kingdom and whether there is a minimum distance required
between a children`s day care and a Parole Office that would not be respected

Community Summer Picnic on June 15 at Cattail Creek Park from 11 am to 3 pm
is coming together. The picnic will
be a simple old fashion family fun day with activities and prizes for all
ages.Bring a blanket, picnic
hamper, sun hat, sun screen and refreshments.First aid is lined up.KHCA will continue its Membership Drive during
the day.We need volunteers for set up on June 15

All residents of Katimavik-Hazeldean are welcome to the Monday, June 3rd 2013 Meeting of the Katimavik Hazeldean Community Association in the Community Room of Katimavik Elementary School.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 pm
The meeting will learn of the preparations for the Residents Community Picnic on June 15 (rain date June 16) and the proposed Franklin Empire electrical retail store for 120 – 140 Hearst Way.
