Need for Kanata-Stittsville Dog Run

Our association has again received questions about a fenced dog run from dog owners who feel it is needed.
We have dog owners in our Community who think that a fenced in area in the far West of Ottawa as a dog run is needed. The existing facilities are either well inside the greenbelt or in a distant community.

As Kanata and Stittsville population grows they are finding that so that their larger and smaller dogs cannot be allowed to get their necessary exercise without parallel involvement of the dog’s owner.

Should you be a dog owner who shares the interest in getting a fenced dog run for Kanata-Stittsville please let me know at president@khca.on.ca

On behalf of / de la part de The Council on Aging of Ottawa – Le Conseil sur le vieillissement d’Ottawa
An invitation to Ottawa seniors: What do you think should be priority actions to make our city more “age-friendly”?
