Nozzle Update at Youngs Pond

Subject: Nozzle Update

Hi Everyone,
January 2012 is some winter!
My thanks you all for sticking with it.
I just wanted to let you know that it turned out that Boone Plumbing do not have nozzles for 1 ½ " fire hoses.     Mistakenly I was given to understand that they did.
One thing is clear, the red plastic nozzle we get can be extremely brittle.         At really cold (minus 18°c and below)  temperatures, it seems that the nozzle will have to pampered just a bit.
With some time before March Break – all of February – who knows, we still have a good chance the weather may stray into and stay in good skating and watering temperatures for a stretch.
Thank you again for your work in maintaining Young's Pond Park ice rink.      I deeply appreciate your  time and efforts.

Yours sincerely,
Rod MacLean
